HOW CAN THIS BE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE!

 According to various estimates, the cost to completely eliminate homelessness in the United States could range from $11 billion to $30 billion per year, with some calculations suggesting it could cost around $30,000 to $50,000 per homeless individual annually to provide necessary supportive services and housing.  

But no one wants to talk about what groups like ours can do with just a fraction of that amount! 

We can get one person off the street, house and feed them for between $4,200 to $5,000 per year once shelters are built. The investment in each shelter is $25,000 for a single housing unit and $35,000. to house a family of 6 this includes the land and all support services connected that are required.

To build a village of 100 shelters with all supporting infrastructure is 3 million dollars with an annual operating budget of between 1.2 to 1.5 million depending on the number of people provided for.  

We provide food & shelter and none of the funds are given out in cash to the sheltered person. 

If a person wants more than like all of us its time to get a job and yes we provide job search with support such as  transportation and hold out savings (from any check) to build up savings so the person can get on their own feet. (see program details)
