We are working on new designs as well as looking around to find designs that may already be suited to the need. Again housing entire families keeping them together only helps build a better outcome. Families should stay together!
IN WORK DESIGN SLEEPING UP TO 6
The trick is to try and keep the cost of each unit to no more than $35,000. or less.
This housing is designed to last for a year or so for each family while they save money to move up to more permanent housing through our work program street to home . We will also have shorter term family housing for emergency needs.
Each unit can accommodate 2 Adults and 4 Children with an emergency add on of two extra beds (bunk bed) if needed making room for 8
With a total of 50 family housing units of this type we can house up to 100 Adults and 200 children. And under extraordinary conditions house up to an added 2 children per family unit (2 Adults and 6 children)
A playground will be provided as well as a dog walk area. The family compound will be secure from the other area and both will be fenced in with on site security and CCTV cameras covering the entire compound area.
