Our organization is committed to improving lives at the lowest cost possible. Our pilot program can be a model to save homeless people while also saving millions of tax payer dollars.
You want to save money and we agree but not at the expense of helpless Americans. Americans don't leave anyone behind.
A MOON SHOT TO SAVE AMERICAS HOMELESS!
POLITICIANS TALK AND NOTHING EVER CHANGES!
This is going to require a lot of effort from a lot of sources from all corners of our country and every part of our society! Every citizen has a stake in the outcome and every politician is responsible (Left, Right & Center) the time for pointing fingers and long-winded speeches has come and gone and what is needed now is action! The time has come for a lot of ideas to come together to solve this most vexing problem of American society. We are just one small part of the overall idea. We now need to pull together all the efforts at the same time. Our pilot program provides 100 shelter homes to get the people willing to work off the street and back to work by providing a home and food all while making the transition back into society! We still need to find a way to get the disabled, elder, & addicted off the streets as well. We are also working on that idea with what we call Pilot camp 2 now in work where we hope to house about 1000 homeless long term. The cost to build Pilot Camp 1 is 3 M and the cost to feed and care for them is $12. per day per person. The cost of building Pilot Camp 2 is estimated at 5.8 million and the cost to care for each person is $12. per day. Camps are not jails or lock down but do have rules that everyone must follow. People will be free to come and go just as are all free Americans. Camps like camp2 will be outside of city areas and camps like camp 1 will be in cites or close by. Camp 2 is away from the city so as not to allow street walking and other disruptive behaviors. Programs to help reform addicts will also be in place in the Camp 2 free of charge. Camp 2 will also provide skill training and education to all who seek it for a better life through reforming themselves away from addiction. Some people through no fault of their own will never be able to hold down jobs of be able to function within society and the camps like camp 2 will care for them in a dignified way rather then casting them out on the streets or placing them in a mental institution. Yes Camp 2 is as are all the Camps supervised and the cost of that supervision is contained within the $12 dollars per day per person. Most of the internal work within the camps will be performed by the residents providing responsible jobs and instilling the needed confidence in the workers that can in time translate to more useful outside employment.
We can house and protect people for less than the Government spends on prisons and prisoners. And it would lower the construction cost if we could place camps on Federal or State land.
In short, our programs cost on average $12. per day or $365. per month or $4,300.
per person per year. (not including the cost to build the camps that can last 25 to 30 years or more)
This is only one solution, and we feel that combining with others all across the country we can and will end homelessness in America.

Just get a Job, sounds good to people who don't have a clue and could care less. The fact is you need an address, transportation, bank account, phone number, Internet, clean clothing, basic hygiene, FOOD to eat, and the ability to wait up to 4 weeks to get paid. Easy NOT at all.
The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.
